Our client wanted to extend the accommodation in their home from two bedrooms to three bedrooms and create a self contained guest wing. The other functions of the guest wing included an entertaining area, rumpus room and retreat.
A major priority for the client was for the extension to retain the period look of the original house. It was important for the extension to blend seamlessly, the building needed to look as though nothing had been added and flow within the present structure to enable future desirability as a family home.
This project was awarded the 2013 HIA RENOVATION/ADDITION PROJECT $250,000 to $500,000 of the year.
